How to Choose

Choose around your feeding routine, the space you have and the facts you can confirm.

1. Start with the food instructions

Read the original food packaging. Some foods should remain in their original bag inside a suitable container. Keep batch and expiry information available and never assume a new container extends shelf life.

2. Measure the whole space

Check shelf depth, width and overhead clearance, including the space needed to lift the lid. Product photographs are not a scale reference. Confirm capacity and dimensions before choosing a container for a specific bag size.

3. Match access to your routine

A round lift-off lid, an oval silhouette and a carry-style form each look different in a feeding corner. Evaluate the actual opening, how you will scoop food and whether the filled container can be handled comfortably. A visible handle alone is not proof of a load rating.

4. Keep foods identifiable

For homes with more than one pet or diet, maintain clear labels and original food information. Do not mix fresh food into old residue or assume different foods have the same storage needs.

5. Confirm care and performance

Ask about the material, cleaning instructions, capacity and sealing details if these are important to your purchase. We do not infer dishwasher safety, food-contact approval or airtight performance from an image.

6. Choose a settled location

Store according to the food manufacturer's guidance, away from moisture, heat and direct sunlight. Keep containers secure from pets and children and avoid unstable shelves.
